A 42-year-old man died after he was ejected from a car that crashed in Cherokee County, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

Gary Bullard of Woodstock was the only passenger in a BMW that crashed just before 5 p.m. Thursday on Bells Ferry Road near Robin Road, spokesman Jay Baker said. No other vehicles were involved.

The driver, 34-year-old Jonathan Harris of Woodstock, lost control of the car, which left the road, according to Baker.

Both men were taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Harris’ injuries are not considered life threatening.
