The Baker County Sheriff’s Office arrested a couple who was reportedly found doing drugs at a gas station, with their children in the vehicle.

A FWC officer was pumping gas in Macclenny when he spotted a parked van that appeared suspicious.

The officer walked to the van and saw the driver, Richard Allan Nasworthy, 25, injecting drugs into his body.

Nasworthy and his girlfriend Anjanet E. Roy, 24, were both arrested.

The couple had three children with them, their 1-year-old child who was using a tracheostomies or ventilator, and two other children, ages 3 and 4.

Authorities say the drug is roxy codone. The sheriff’s office says it comes in a pill form and people use a spoon to dissolve the pill, then put it into a syringe.

The children are now with their grandmother.

Nasworthy and Roy are charged with three counts of cruelty to a child, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and drug paraphernalia.

Nasworthy is also charged with driving on a suspended license and having no license plate registration tag on the van.
