A Delta flight attendant was arrested Friday afternoon in Michigan while on a plane in which he was working as a crew member, officials said.

Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport arrested the male flight attendant on an active warrant accusing him of grand theft in Orange County, Florida, WXYZ reported. The man's name was not released.

The arrest was made aboard the plane, which had just landed after completing an overseas flight from Paris, WXYZ reported.

The man is being held in Michigan while he awaits extradition to Florida, authorities said.
