A former state probation officer in northwest Georgia had illegal sexual contact with two people under his supervision, according to reports.

Anyoel Cordovi, 29, of Dalton, allegedly had sexual intercourse with a probationer in 2015, the Rome News-Tribune reported. He also allegedly exchanged explicit photos with another probationer.

The alleged incidents occurred when Cordovi worked at the probation office in Rome, which is about 70 miles northwest of Atlanta.

He was arrested Tuesday on charges of sexual assault and violation of his oath of office.
