North Georgia woman charged with statutory rape, child molestation

A Lumpkin County woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly having a sexual relationship with an underage boy, authorities said.

Erica Christine McDaniel, 32, is charged with two counts of child molestation and two counts of statutory rape, the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Investigators said there were multiple incidents with a 16-year-old boy over a one-year period, the release said.
