The motorcyclist who was killed in Douglas County early Friday morning after falling onto the interstate was identified as a father of six by one of his daughters.

The Douglas County coroner confirmed Raymond Tyson, 57, was the man who fell off his motorcycle onto I-20 near Chapel Hill Road before being hit by another vehicle, according to Douglasville police.

His daughter told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Tyson leaves behind six children  and 14 grandchildren.

The Douglasville traffic unit is still investigating the incident, but charges are not expected to be filed against the driver of the vehicle that struck Tyson.
