An 18-month-old girl who was reported missing Thursday after allegedly being abducted by her father in Newnan has been found safe, authorities said.

Remy Jaaziah Daniels was turned over to a family member just before 2:30 p.m. Friday and is being returned to her mother, Coweta County deputies told AJC.com.

According to investigators, 31-year-old Jeremy Joseph Daniels took his daughter after threatening to kill her mother Thursday afternoon on Morning Dove Lane.

He is still on the run.

Daniels is considered armed and dangerous and was last seen driving a gold 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with the license plate RMR9873, deputies said. He has an active warrant for making terroristic threats.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Coweta County deputies at 770-253-1502.
