Investigators are working on a potential homicide case.
Authorities say the body of a missing 11-year-old central Florida girl who hasn't been seen in months may have been found in a freezer in a garage belonging to the girl's grandmother. The girl's name is Janiya Thomas.
Thomas' aunt and grandmother made the discovery, telling investigators that the girl's mother and an unidentified man dropped off the freezer Wednesday.
Thomas' mother was taken into custody Friday after she refused to answer questions, according to police.
