Two people are in custody after the body of a missing Middle Georgia teen was found overnight, the Macon Telegraph reported.

Dakota White, 17, and Brandon Warren, 18, both of Houston County, were charged with murder, Perry police Chief Steve Lynn said Thursday morning.

The manner of death for Sam Poss, 18, was strangulation, suffocation and/or stabbing, according to the arrest warrant for Warren, the Telegraph reported. The warrant for White was not available.

Poss, a 2016 Perry High School graduate, was reported missing early Saturday. He was thought to be walking home from a friend’s house along a wooded trail, the paper reported. Poss’ father said that White was the friend.

Authorities searched a 200-acre wooded area near where Poss went missing, the paper reported. The search included police dogs and a Georgia State Patrol helicopter.
