Two men looking to collect on a debt were arrested during a Gainesville home invasion, Hall County officials said.

Authorities arrested Jose Luis Ochoa-Paredes and Luis Alberto Roque in Friday night’s home invasion on the 3000 block of Joe Chandler Road in east Hall County, Deputy Stephen Wilbanks said.

“One of the subjects fired a shotgun round outside of the residence,” Wilbanks said, “and both eventually gained access to the home, which was occupied by numerous adults.”

Deputies found that man and took him to custody. Once the home was cleared, officials found the second suspect hiding inside, Wilbanks said.

Officials said the men were there to collect on a debt but didn’t elaborate on what the debt was concerning. No one was injured during the home invasion.

Both men remained in custody at the Hall County jail without bond on aggravated assault, burglary, criminal trespass, obstruction and weapons charges.
