A man wanted by Atlanta police on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon and cruelty toward a child was arrested Monday in West Virginia, authorities said.

Michael Colclough, 47, was arrested at a business where he worked in Berkeley County by the U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, according to reports.

In July, Atlanta police reportedly asked the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Task Force to help search for Colclough. That’s when he is believed to have left Georgia for West Virginia.

The aggravated assault charge is from an alleged domestic dispute, and the cruelty toward a child incident reportedly occurred July 10.

Colclough is being held in the Eastern Regional Jail in Martinsburg, W.Va., and is awaiting extradition to Georgia.
