A Marietta man has been arrested and charged in connection with three bank robberies, all of which occurred in the last two weeks.

Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said Quinton Boast, 24, was arrested Wednesday morning by Sandy Springs police, who had identified him as the suspect in the Friday afternoon robbery of a Wells Fargo on New Northside Drive.

Pierce said his department has also charged Boast in a pair of bank robberies in Marietta — the July 16 heist at a SunTrust inside the Publix at 1000 Johnson Ferry Road, and a Tuesday afternoon incident at the Fifth Third Bank at 4209 Roswell Road.

In all three robberies, the suspect passed a note demanding money to a teller.

Boast was charged in Cobb County with two counts of robbery by intimidation. The specific charges filed by Sandy Springs police were unclear.

As of Wednesday night, Boast was being held at the Sandy Springs jail, Pierce said.
