For the second time, a jury has convicted Ronald Fisher of shooting and killing Derrick Cullins in 2009 over a $35 dispute, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.

Police say Cullins stole $35 worth of ecstasy from Fisher and was unable to pay it back.

“That’s what you get for stealing,” Fisher said after shooting Cullins in the chest at point-blank range, according to a witness.

In 2011, Fisher was found guilty of the murder, but the decision was later overturned after he appealed, claiming he had received ineffective legal counsel.

After Thursday’s conviction, Fisher was sentenced to life in prison without parole plus five years.

Fisher was convicted of another murder in 2013, this time of 17-year-old Eddie Shaheed. He was sentenced to life in prison for the 2003 crime.
