Police are looking for the man who walked into a Cobb County drug store wearing a motorcycle helmet and robbed the place at gunpoint.

The robbery happened Sunday afternoon at Thomas Drugs in Austell, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The owner told the news station it was the first time the store had been robbed since opening 40 years ago.

Surveillance video shows the man walking into the store and pulling out a gun.

The robber jumps over the counter and followed the pharmacist to a safe, Channel 2 reported. He told her to get on the ground.

A witness pulled up at the drive-thru and called 911, Channel 2 reported. “I pulled up to the window and I saw people laying on the floors,” Joshua Camp said.

The robber got an array of prescription pills, including percocet and oxycodone, Channel 2 reported. He then sped away on his motorcycle.

Camp said he drove after the man, but the motorbike had no tag.

Police told Channel 2 they are trying to find out if the man is connected to other pharmacy robberies in metro Atlanta. An investigation is ongoing.
