Man wanted in stepfather’s shooting death in Gwinnett

Officers are searching for Sean Edwards-Tuggle after the shooting death of 44-year-old Christopher Grier in the 4300 block of Grove Lake Street.

Police are searching for a man accused of shooting and killing his stepfather on Easter Sunday in Gwinnett County.

Officers were dispatched about 4:16 p.m. to the stepfather’s home in the 4300 block of Grove Lake Street in unincorporated Loganville. They learned Sean Edwards-Tuggle shot Christopher Grier following an argument inside the home, according to a statement from police.

Grier, 44, was dead when police arrived, Cpl. Matthew Williamson said in the statement.

Edwards-Tuggle, 26, had taken off in a silver 2010 Dodge Avenger with Georgia tag  RGJ9108, according to police.

“There were witnesses to the incident and they are speaking to and working with GCPD Homicide Investigators to locate the suspect,” Williamson said.

Edwards-Tuggle is wanted on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault. He is described as 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds.
