Man used email, Twitter to threaten schools, airport

July 13, 2016An Athens man pleaded guilty to federal charges of making bomb threats against an airport and high schools in Florida, according to a media report.
Preston Alexander McWaters, 25, supposedly made the threats after a woman he was accused of stalking in Oconee County moved to Palm Beach County, Fla., to live with her boyfriend, the Athens Banner-Herald reported.
McWaters used an email address and a Twitter account in the boyfriend’s name to make the threats, the paper reported.
