An Athens man pleaded guilty to federal charges of making bomb threats against an airport and high schools in Florida, according to a media report.

Preston Alexander McWaters, 25, supposedly made the threats after a woman he was accused of stalking in Oconee County moved to Palm Beach County, Fla., to live with her boyfriend, the Athens Banner-Herald reported.

McWaters used an email address and a Twitter account in the boyfriend’s name to make the threats, the paper reported.
