Atlanta police discovered the man just after midnight in the 1900 block of Jones Avenue while responding to a report of a person shot. He had wounds to his head, back, arms and legs, according to police.

Investigators at the scene told Channel 2 Action News he was shot at least five times, and two of those shots were to his temple.

The victim, whose name was not released, was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
