Man shot, killed after fight with ‘several men,’ Atlanta police say

A man was found dead from a gunshot wound to the stomach in northwest Atlanta, police said.

The victim argued with several men before the deadly shooting, which occurred about 3 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 2700 block of Revere Drive, Atlanta police Officer Stephanie Brown said.

Those men left the scene in a gold or brown Nissan Sentra after the fatal shooting, according to police.

“Our investigators are working to gather additional information,” she said.

The identity of the man has not been released pending next of kin notification.
