Man, 24, shot to death in northeast Atlanta

April 30, 2014A 24-year-old man died after being shot multiple times Tuesday afternoon, Atlanta police said.
The shooting happened around 2:40 p.m. on Peachtree Valley Road, off Peachtree Road, at the Allure at Brookwood apartments, according to Sgt. Greg Lyon. Investigators do not believe the shooting was random, but no information was released about a possible suspect.
The victim, identified late Tuesday as Travis Bell Jr., was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, but did not survive.
No further details about the shooting were released.
