Man shot on Cascade Road

Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition Monday.

Police responded to a call of a man shot in the chest and stomach outside of a Dollar Tree store on Cascade Road in southwest Atlanta at around 3:45 p.m., authorities said.

The man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
