Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a man in stable condition Monday afternoon.

Police responded to a call of a man shot in the chest and stomach outside of a Dollar Tree store on Cascade Road in southwest Atlanta at around 3:45 p.m., authorities said.

Two men were arguing outside the store when one of them shot the other as they were walking inside the building.

The man, who was originally listed in critical condition, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
