A man was shot to death Friday afternoon after he got into an argument with another man outside an AutoZone on Campbellton Road in southwest Atlanta.

The victim and a friend were working on cars next to the business when a man walked over and argued with them, Channel 2 Action News reported. The man pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the chest, the news station reported.

He then aimed and shot at the friend, who ran away to avoid getting shot.

Police told Channel 2 the man and the victim argued over where they could work on their car. The victim and his friend were not identified.

Police are hoping surveillance footage helps them find the accused shooter, Channel 2 reported.
