A man wanted on a murder charge was arrested Tuesday in Clayton County, officials said.

Terrell Thurmond Jr. allegedly shot and killed 20-year-old Fanoris Jackson on April 15, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Jackson was found shot in the chest and leg, lying outside of Building 2 at the Highland Woods Apartments on Riverdale Road. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
