Clayton County police are searching for a suspect seen running after a fatal shooting Saturday afternoon.

Officers heard gunshots about 1:30 p.m. while patrolling near 5751 Riverdale Road, Clayton County police spokeswoman Sgt. Ashanti Marbury said.

The area is near the Highland Woods Apartments and as officers checked the complex, they said they found Fanoris Jermaine Jackson Jr. lying on the pavement.
