A Colquitt County man was indicted on 14 charges, including murder, in a home fire that killed five people in May 2016, according to media reports.

Jeffrey Peacock also faces arson, weapons and animal cruelty charges, WALB-TV reported. Peacock allegedly shot the victims before setting the home on fire.

Officials called it the worst mass killing in South Georgia’s recent history.

Peacock will be arraigned April 3, the station reported.
