A judge sentenced a man convicted of killing and hog-tying his 75-year-old neighbor to life without parole plus 60 years Monday, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Odes Dupree, 54, was sentenced after a jury earlier found him guilty of two counts of felony murder, malice murder, kidnapping, robbery and burglary in the first degree, according to Channel 2.

Dupree broke into 75-year-old Florence Duke's Douglasville apartment, tied her up, then took her TVs to pay off a drug debt, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

That drug dealer, whose name was not released, was arrested. And that dealer led police to Dupree, Harrell said. Duke’s televisions were found in the drug dealer’s apartment with Dupree’s fingerprints.

Still, Dupree claimed in court he didn’t kill Duke and that her killer is still on the loose.
