A man was found fatally shot in his SUV at a DeKalb County apartment complex Saturday, police said.

Roderick Turner, 24, crashed the SUV into a tree and electrical utility box after he was shot, investigators said.

The incident happened at the Covington Glen apartments off Covington Highway, DeKalb police said. Neighbors called police and reported hearing gunfire.

Shortly before 8 p.m., police found Turner suffering from a gunshot wound in the SUV. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, officials said. Investigators believe the shooting may be the result of “risky behavior.”
