One man was in critical condition after a Sunday afternoon double shooting in southwest Atlanta, police said.

Atlanta Police Department spokesman Officer Ralph Woolfolk said the victims, both males, were shot on the 1600 block of Olympian Circle, a residential street just off Cascade Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene just before 4 p.m.

While one man was considered critical, another was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital in stable condition, Woolfolk said. Channel 2 Action News reported the men were found inside a vehicle.

No further information was immediately available.
