A man is in critical condition after being shot near an Ingles grocery store in Henry County on Monday, police said.
Around 5 p.m., officers found the man outside the store on Walt Stephens Road in Stockbridge, Henry County police said in a news release.
The man was taken to an area hospital for surgery, the release said.
Police aren’t sure whether the incident was domestic or a robbery. An investigation is ongoing.
