A man who crashed Thursday night after someone shot him in the head has died, DeKalb County police said.

No arrests have been made, and investigators do not know what caused the shooting in the 100 block of Tregoney Drive, DeKalb police Lt. Lonzy Robertson said.

The shooting happened about 9:50 p.m. as the victim was leaving an apartment.

He was taken to the hospital, where he died about 2 a.m. Friday, Robertson said.
