Almost four months after Eric Fisher was found dead outside a Motel 6, DeKalb County authorities arrested the man they say killed him.

Kaylon Janard Jiles was arrested Monday, along with acquaintance Traquan Alexander McCleod, during a traffic stop, DeKalb sheriff’s office spokeswoman Cynthia Williams said in a statement.

Fisher was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a Motel 6 after getting into an argument with Jiles, who left the scene in a black sedan, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

Jiles, McCleod and a third person were spotted at a Stone Mountain apartment complex. When they left the location, they were arrested during a nearby traffic stop.

McCleod was wanted in a Sept. 13 armed robbery and aggravated battery case, Williams said. Warrants were issued for him Feb. 6.

The third person is being held by police pending further investigation, Williams said.
