Two people were arrested Thursday and one person is the on the run after a wrong-way crash in northwest Atlanta, police said.

An off-duty Atlanta police officer who was in the area helped capture the two suspects after the three ran from the scene, according to police.

The car was going eastbound in the westbound lanes of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway when it crashed into an SUV in the 2800 block about 7:53 a.m.

The vehicle was stolen out of Cobb County, according to police.

No other details were released, and no injuries were reported.
