Two men were killed and one was injured in a shooting at a Henry County apartment apartment complex earlier this month.

Henry County police responded about 11:30 p.m. June 7 to the 860 South Apartments on Rock Quarry Road near Stockbridge to find a disoriented man, who said he had been shot twice.

After searching the area, police found two more gunshot victims in a nearby apartment, agency spokesman Sgt. J.E. Davis said Thursday in a statement. One man was already dead when they arrived on the scene, and the other man died later that night at a hospital. The disoriented man who was shot twice was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and later released.

Officials have not yet released the identities of the victims.

Police said the incident may have been drug-related because large quantities of narcotics and weapons were found at the scene. The incident is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
