The body of a man was found on a stranger’s porch Thursday afternoon after a shooting at a DeKalb County hair salon, police said.

Detectives told Channel 2 Action News that a man and a woman got into an altercation with the owner of Maggie’s Weaving Studio and opened fire on the business.

Investigators believe the man was shot at the studio in the 5800 block of Memorial Drive, DeKalb police Lt. Lonzy Robertson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The man was found about a mile away outside a home in the 1200 block of West Ridge Avenue. The owner of the home told police he did not know the victim, who died on the scene. The victim’s name has not been released, but police said he is 25 years old.

“We're trying to sort out what happened, how it happened, who may have shot him and how he ended up on that doorstep,” DeKalb police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell said.
