One person was killed Saturday in a crash involving three vehicles on I-20 East just west of Columbia Drive, DeKalb County police said.

A Honda Accord stalled on the freeway, and a Ford pickup truck hit the Honda from behind, then hit an Acura, according to police.

The driver of the Honda and a passenger in the pickup were taken to a hospital, police said. The Honda driver was pronounced dead.

The crash and investigation backed up traffic on the freeway for well over an hour, according to reports.

Further details were not available.
