The woman allegedly stole the 67-year-old’s debit card before leaving her bound inside the home. It took her more than an hour to escape her ties and run to a neighbor’s house to call 911, Glover said.

Shortly after the violent home invasion, the victim’s debit card was used at a nearby food mart, according to police. Surveillance video from the parking lot showed a Chevrolet Impala that investigators believe is the same vehicle spotted on Dorsey Avenue. The driver appeared to cover her face as she entered the business.

Detectives are still trying to identify her.

“This person was cold-hearted, calculated, went into somebody’s home and invaded their private space,” Glover said.

Detectives believe the same Chevrolet Impala was driven to a nearby food mart where the victim's debit card was used to make a purchase.
