Investigators believe a fight inside a Buckhead recording studio spilled out onto the street Sunday night before it ended in gunfire.

A man was shot in the arm on Grandview Avenue after arguing with the driver of a gold SUV, according to Atlanta police. The dispute may have started inside Treble Clef Studios, a 24-hour music recording studio that opened in 2017.

The victim, who was not identified, was alert and stable when he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital just before 9:30 p.m.

“Investigators continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” police spokesman Investigator James White told AJC.com.

The music studio is located about a block from The Shops at Buckhead in a busy commercial area south of Pharr Road. It is across the street from a condominium complex.

The shooting remains under investigation, White said.
