Days after an Atlanta man’s body was found in the backyard of a vacant Clayton County home, authorities have identified a person of interest.

Tennille Sheree Thomas, 32, is believed to be the last person to have contact with 35-year-old Ollie Antonio Stephens, Forest Park police Maj. Chris Matson said in a statement.

“Attempts to locate her have been unsuccessful,” Matson said.

Thomas is believed to be living in Forest Park.

Authorities went to the 500 block of Yancey Drive about 3:45 p.m. Saturday after getting a person-down call, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. They located Stephens with at least one gunshot wound.

“No one currently lives at the ... home,” Matson said. “It has been vacant for an unknown period of time.”

An autopsy was conducted Monday, but officials have not released the official cause of death. Forest Park police are investigating the case as a homicide.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Forest Park Police Department’s crime tip line at 404-608-2388 or Forest Park dispatchers at 404-366-4141. Tipsters may also contact the Clayton County Fugitive Squad at 770-477-4479.
