Woman arrested, accused of murdering husband in Gwinnett neighborhood

Gwinnett police arrested a Buford woman for allegedly murdering her husband Saturday morning.

Around 1 a.m., neighbors called police to report a person’s body in the middle of the road in the 5000 block of Apple Grove Road, Gwinnett police said in a news release.

Officers said they discovered the body was that of Montez Love-Bullock, 39, who died of an apparent gunshot wound, the release said.

Police said his wife, Christy Love-Bullock, 39, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and felony murder, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police told Channel 2 the incident is being investigated as a possible domestic dispute. Christy Love-Bullock is in custody at the Gwinnett County Jail and has not been allowed bond, Channel 2 reported.
