Gwinnett County police have a 17-year-old in custody after he allegedly stabbed his father and brother, then left the scene, a spokesman said Wednesday.

The incident happened in the 2000 block of Spring End Court, near Patterson Road and Five Forks Trickum Road in the Lawrenceville area, Sgt. Jake Smith said.

Maximilano Cardenas Garcia “attacked his brother and father with a sharp object (unknown) and fled the scene on foot,” Smith said in an email.

The injuries weren’t life-threatening, police said.

Charges against Garcia have not been released.
