The pilot and passenger in a Bartow County plane crash were identified Monday, a week after they were taken to hospitals with injuries.

Euharlee police identified pilot Danil Cadena and passenger Alan Villanuva on Monday. Officials did not know their ages or where they are from.

Little is known about Tuesday’s crash, but officials could confirm the duo were flying from South Carolina to Houston. The plane, a Cessna 172, is registered to Project Management Group, a Houston-based company that specializes in construction projects.

More details could emerge when the NTSB completes its report.

Officials said the plane likely clipped a utility pole, causing it to lose its propeller and crash. Cadena was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital and Villanuva was taken to Floyd Medical Center in Rome.

Their conditions were not released.
