A man and woman were both indicted Thursday on three felonies in connection to the sex trafficking of a 16-year-old girl in Cobb County, authorities said.
Keron Owen Hamilton, 26, of Lawrenceville, and Meyetta Keshun Brown, 27, of Atlanta, face two counts of trafficking a person for sexual servitude and one count of pimping a person under 18, according to court documents. The duo were arrested in 2017 during a sex trafficking sting.
Brown, who also goes by the name Meyetta Keshun King, was initially only charged with providing officers with a false name, but she was included on the three-count indictment along with Hamilton.
In October 2017, the two were arrested after an undercover officer arranged for services from the victim, with the two suspects bringing the girl to a hotel, AJC.com previously reported.

The arrests happened at the Extended Stay America motel off Interstate North Parkway, according to Hamilton’s arrest warrants. No other details on the charges were released.
Earlier that year, he was arrested after leading authorities on a 106-mph chase on Akers Mill Road in Atlanta, according to the Georgia State Patrol. His license was suspended at the time, authorities said.

Hamilton remains in the Cobb County Jail without bond, according to online jail records. Brown has not been arrested in connection with her charges, according to court records.
