A man who jumped on the MARTA tracks in Buckhead caused heavy delays on the Red Line during rush hour Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

Police had to shut off power and remove the man from the track shortly after 5 p.m., MARTA spokesman Erik Burton said. Normal service resumed by 7:50 p.m.

Justin Caho, 30, was arrested and taken to the Fulton County jail on criminal trespass and reckless conduct charges, Burton said.

Caho made his first court appearance Wednesday morning, according to Tracy Flanagan with the Fulton Sheriff’s Office.

No motive has been released.
