A former Hall County sheriff’s deputy was fired Sunday after an investigation into an alleged inappropriate relationship with a woman on house arrest.

Corey Alexander, who worked for the sheriff’s office for seven years and was assigned to the jail division, supervised persons on house arrest, Hall sheriff’s spokeswoman Deputy Nicole Bailes said.

No other details were released.

The case remains under internal investigation.
