Gwinnett shooting puts 2 in hospital

Gwinnett County police are investigating a shooting that put two people in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police went to Pendleton Place in Suwanee shortly before 2 p.m. Monday after a 911 caller reported hearing gunshots outside her home, Gwinnett officials said.

Officers discovered broken glass from a car window in the road, but they didn’t find any victims. Those victims came in separately

to Gwinnett Medical Center, the Gwinnett County Police Department said in a statement.

Both suffer from life-threatening injuries, the statement said.

Police have not been able to determine if one victim could be a suspect in the incident.

The names of the victims are not being released yet, officials said.
