Golf pro John Daly’s ex-wife has been arrested again.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Sherrie Daly was booked Tuesday night. She is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and violating an order of protection.
According to the Memphis Police Department, Daly broke into a man's bedroom on Tuesday morning. The victim and a female witness woke up to find Daly standing in his bedroom holding a golf club. The victim told police that Daly charged at him with the club and began to strike him on his hands and forearms. He said was using his hands and forearms to keep from being struck on his head with the club.
The victim was able to get the club away from Daly and escort her outside through the front door. She fled the scene on foot.
The witness in the case and Daly have active restraining orders against one other.
Daly was arrested on similar charges in September after being accused of sending angry text messages to a woman because they were seeing the same man.
In September 2014, she was found guilty of contributing to the unruly behavior of her son by failing to have him attend school for extended periods.
Daly did five months in federal prison in 2006 for money laundering.
