West Point police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a June murder.

Trent Murphy of West Point surrendered and was arrested about 7 a.m. at an apartment complex in Valley, Ala., spokeswoman Michelle Meadows-Davidson said in a statement.

He’s wanted in connection with the June 13 death of Reggie Pearson, police said.
