A Fulton County teenager has been identified as the victim in a deadly shooting in Bartow County, the sheriff said.

Qualeef Rhodes, 17, of East Point, was found dead June 4 in the 100 block of Bells Ferry Road, Bartow Sheriff Clark Millsap said Thursday in a news release. Officials released photos of the victim’s tattoo and backpack, and family members helped investigators identify Rhodes, according to the sheriff’s office.

“This continues to be an active investigation and numerous leads are being followed up on to solve this case,” Millsap said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call investigators at 770-382-5050, ext. 6029 or 6030.
