Authorities on Monday identified a Fulton County employee they say struck and killed two pedestrians involved in a fender-bender last week.

Jamal McCoy has not been charged in the fatal crash that Union City police reenacted Monday afternoon, according to Channel 2 Action News. McCoy is a maintenance worker with the city.

Murphy McKinney and Mary Hughes were involved in a minor crash and were out of their cars on Ga. 138 at Buffington Road to check damage when a Fulton County truck struck and killed them.

Police reenacted the crash to determine how fast McCoy might have been going and if his vision was obscured, Channel 2 reported.

The truck involved in the crash was impounded by Union City police.

No other details were released.
