Authorities confirmed Tuesday that a Forsyth County jailer was arrested last month and is under both criminal and internal investigation.

They aren’t, however, saying what he’s accused of doing.

Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. Robin Regan told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Deputy Josh Delano was arrested Nov. 29 and released on bond the same day. He was also placed on administrative leave.

“The internal and criminal investigations are both still ongoing,” Regan said in an email. “I will be able to comment further when they are complete.” A timetable for completing the investigation was not provided.

The charges filed against Delano were not released. Forsyth County jail records are not posted online.
